​Ear Monster’s Sound Machine

The Ear Monster Sound Machine is an interactive sound project developed by Uni Percussion, inviting audiences to rediscover the act of listening through play and imagination.

From the perspective of the “Ear Monster,” everyday materials—such as pipes, wrenches, washboards, and buttons—are transformed into a series of sound machines. Through touching, striking, and exploring these objects, participants gradually open up their perception of sound.

 

Small sonic discoveries become gateways to a much larger world. From a single sound, new connections emerge—between environment, memory, and personal experience.

Here, sound is not merely something to be produced, but a way of understanding and sensing the world.
